“Everything I loved about being a social worker, I get to do with the Shaklee Business.”

Meet Francine Roling, Senior Coordinator!

Francine knows a good thing when she sees it.

When an old high school friend started telling Francine about her Shaklee Business, Francine was intrigued. “Even before I opened that first bottle of Basic-H®, I wanted to know more about the business. I could see that there was potential there for freedom and flexibility and those things just sound like magic words to me.”

So Francine dove in, doing the business part-time for a while. “I was a school social worker with two little girls. I wanted to be home with them but didn’t see how that would be possible. I joined the business in my spare time, and I did pretty well with it considering I knew very little about it. It shows you that your passion and your excitement about something can impact and reach people.”

When tough times hit, the Shaklee Business Francine had built was a constant bit of support. “Shaklee was still a piece of my life and I continued to earn money on my business because of the work I had already done. It was just awesome to get a check in the mail from Shaklee (at that time we didn’t have direct deposit). Through that whole period, Shaklee was still there.”

Then she realized something important. “Everything I loved about being a social worker, I get to do with the Shaklee Business. But the difference is that with Shaklee I have the flexibility I always desired. That’s when I really got serious about this business and decided to grow. Once you make a decision, it’s funny how things happen; it’s like the universe realizes, ‘This person is really serious now.’”

“I just see opportunity everywhere, so it’s fun to talk to people and help them envision things for their lives that maybe no one had talked to them about before. Instead of being stuck and feeling like you don’t have resources yet, or don’t know what else to do, that’s where we get to offer choices. We have these amazing products, but we have this business opportunity too.”

Once she decided to go all in, she saw new opportunities to help people achieve their goals. “This opportunity can really provide people with answers to so many circumstances that they may find themselves in. I just think that’s such a joy and a gift to be able to offer to people.”

Her growth continued and the new programs Shaklee launched in 2021 motivated her to grow even more. “I got excited about the quarterly incentive for a couple reasons. First, I wanted to be a good model for my team. I never want to encourage my team to do something that I’m not willing to do myself. And second, it was fun and all the activities that we were asked to do within the incentive are basic foundational activities that we should be doing anyway, if we want our businesses to grow and thrive. It made sense to me, and it was just an added perk that there was an Apple SE watch attached to achieving it.”*

Francine’s business has come a long way from her first $13 check.* “My biggest goal is to help everyone on my team reach their goals. We’ve been doing a lot of goal setting throughout the month, and my big dream: My husband and I want to earn the Star Club Trip. I think we’re all really hungry for TRIPS. But I also want all three of our current leaders to advance in rank so they too can attend the trip to Rank Up. I am envisioning the six of us running around a beach somewhere having a great time.”
