Director is the first leadership position at Shaklee. Below you’ll find what is needed to become a Director.

Director Requirements

  • 75 Active Volume (AV): The volume from your personal orders and/or new orders from your retail customers or Members.
  • 500 Customer Volume (CV): The volume from product purchases made by your new and existing customers and Members.
  • 2,000 Personal Team Volume (PTV): The total volume from your purchases (up to 500 points per month), from all your customer’s purchases, and from all your Level 1 Ambassadors and their customers’ purchases.

Think of it as filling up each circle by the end of a calendar month.

Here’s how to master each one:

1 – Earn at Least 1 Star Club Bonus Ever Month‡

Earning a Star Club Bonus each month is one of the most important steps a new Ambassador can take to build a strong foundation and reach the rank of Director within their first 90 days.

The goal is to help at least three new people get started every month—ideally two Members and one new Ambassador. This approach helps you grow your business faster while building a team of both product users and business partners.

By consistently qualifying for Star Club, you’re earning income, building momentum, and laying the groundwork for long-term success.

2 – Help Your Existing Customers Reorder

Offering continuing support to your customers is essential for building long-term relationships. By providing ongoing assistance to your customers, you demonstrate a commitment to their success beyond the initial sale. Here are some things you can do:

Personalized Follow-Ups

  • Check in with customers after their purchase to see how they’re enjoying the product.
  • Send a thank-you message or offer guidance on how to get the best results.
  • Share tips, how-to guides, and best practices for using the product effectively.
  • Help them understand the value of a Loyalty subscription.

Community Building

  • Invite customers to join your Wellness Community.
  • Keep them updated on new product launches or upcoming events.
  • Check in periodically, even when they’re not making a purchase, to maintain a strong relationship.

Social Proof & Recognition

  • Recognize loyal customers with shout-outs or small appreciation gifts.
  • Feature customer testimonials or success stories on social media.

3 – Set Your New Ambassadors Up for Success

Bringing on a new Ambassador is just the beginning. How you support them in their first days and weeks can make all the difference in their success. A strong onboarding process helps them feel confident, connected, and ready to take action. This includes guiding them through key steps such as:
