Host Your National Day of Shaklee – Discover Shaklee Meetings

Let’s kick off the year with a bang with a National Day of Shaklee on January 5th!

2019 is just around the corner – a new year, a new opportunity to invite others to join your team as new business builders!

Make plans now to join thousands of your fellow Distributors all around the country in hosting a meeting on January 5th where you can introduce prospective builders to everything new and exciting in Shaklee — including destinations for our 2020 Incentive Trips!*

To support your events, we’ll offer a Live Broadcast, featuring Shaklee Chairman and CEO, Roger Barnett, who will share a powerful message on entrepreneurship, including:

  • Why entrepreneurship is the single most effective path to wealth-creation
  • How to evaluate which opportunities offer the best potential return on investment
  • Which trends and industry sectors will have the most growth over the next 10 years
  • How to develop a growth mindset in order to maximize your impact on the world

This will be a perfect event for GUESTS – people who are interested in the Shaklee business.

In addition to a presentation from Roger, you’ll get an exciting live look into other National Day of Shaklee events going on throughout the US and Canada at the same time.

Stay tuned in the weeks ahead as we release resources you can use to promote your meeting. In the meantime, use this time to register your meeting, get your list of invitees set and begin extending invitations!

*Trip qualifications will be announced during the January 2nd Business Leader broadcast.

Sharing Resources and Inviting Tips for Social

Building upon the framework of social selling, check out the sections below for resources you can use in social to invite people to your Discover Shaklee events as well as wording you can use. Sharing resources are organized around the four steps of social selling outlined in the 7-Day Healthy Cleanse program: Creating Curiosity, Issuing a Call to Action, Building FOMO and Amplifying Results/Rewards.

Use the principles of social selling to create interest and generate leads for your Discover Shaklee Event, starting with creating curiosity among your network for the Shaklee income opportunity and getting a sense of which people in your network might be open to what Shaklee has to offer.

Suggested Wording. Be sure to respond to each comment and pay attention to the comments for people who might be interested in learning more about Shaklee.

“If you could increase your monthly income…whenever YOU got ready, what would you do with the extra money? Answer in the comments below.”

Suggested Wording. Be sure to respond to each comment and pay attention to the comments for people who might be interested in learning more about Shaklee.

“Ever done something cool that totally changed your life for the better? What was it? Tell me in the comments below.”

Suggested Wording. Be sure to respond to each comment and pay attention to the comments for people who might be interested in learning more about Shaklee. PRO-TIP: If you have attended a previous trip and have good pictures, post that with this post for added impact.

“I love to travel and so far, I have been to [fill in any previous Shaklee Trip Destination you went to]/and I am going to [fill in any upcoming trip you've qualified for] next year. Where are some of the places you would go if someone else footed the bill? Tell me in the comments below.”

Now that you've created some curiosity, it's time to issue a Call to Action — by inviting people to attend your Discover Shaklee Event. Check out invitation options below. Use one version or mix and match for a different effect. And for those of you who send or print and share flyers, there is a flyer option below.

Suggested Wording. Be sure to interact with each post and follow up with those who want more info or want to attend a future event.

"Extra money, helping others, having your own business – or all of the above? Yes please! Be my special guest at an upcoming event where you can learn about a company I’ve partnered with – Shaklee, that is helping thousands of people, including me, have richer, more fulfilled lives. The event is free, but space is limited, so DM this [give specific timeframe] if you’re interested."

Once you've extended the invitation, you'll want to build fear of missing out on the event and the experience for those who might be on the fence about attending the event, or just those who might have forgotten to RSVP.

Suggested copy: Make sure you respond to each comment and follow up with anyone still interested in attending or scheduling a one-on-one at another time.

“My January 5th event is nearly full! I'll be closing the guest list soon, but if you're still interested in coming, send me a PM.”

Suggested copy: Make sure you respond to each comment and follow up with anyone still interested in attending or scheduling a one-on-one at another time.

“I only have a few more spaces left for my entrepreneurs event January 5th. DM me if you’re interested.”

Once you've created curiosity, then issued the call to action of an invitation and built some fear of missing out by placing a limited time frame on the invitation, you'll want to amplify the results/rewards that you experience as a part of your Shaklee lifestyle. This serves to build belief in the minds of those in your network and further encourage them to attend your event or schedule a later appointment to talk about Shaklee.

Suggested wording. As always, respond to every comment and wherever possible, use your own pictures in combination to add to the authenticity of the post.

"I’m super excited! Me and a few people off my friends are going on a luxury trip…courtesy of Shaklee. I can’t wait to go and next year I hope to take a few more people with me. DM me if you’re interested.”

Suggested wording. As always, respond to every comment and wherever possible, use your own pictures in combination to add to the authenticity of the post.

“One of the best parts of my Shaklee business is the appreciation I receive for all my hard work…something I never received at my corporate job. If you want to be celebrated for the work you do, PM me.”

Suggested wording. As always, respond to every comment and wherever possible, use your own pictures in combination to add to the authenticity of the post.

“When I started my business, this was all I wanted. To be able to wake up in the morning and set my own schedule…based on what worked best for my family…and now I can. If you’re interested in having more time and more space to do what you want, PM me.”
