Biography
Our mom sponsored as a Shaklee Distributor in 1964. Over 50 years later, the business our parents began is still supporting our family.
Growing up as a Shaklee kid, I was able to see the benefits of owning a Shaklee business firsthand. My parents worked hard, but they always had time to attend a ballgame or a school functions for one of their seven children! I wanted that same freedom and made the decision to put my construction business on hold to join them in their Shaklee business.
One of the things that make Shaklee so rewarding is seeing how people’s lives are transformed. We have our own organizational newsletter and each month it is filled with success stories, from people who have gotten healthier with our products to people who have improved their financial situation with our income opportunity.
And what is great about Shaklee is that we are rewarded when we help others! Just last year, we earned the Celebrate the Effect trip to Maui and it was incredible! Shaklee sends you in style and we had a beautiful room, just steps from the beach!
If I could share some advice that has served me well is this – treat your business with the same level of commitment you want your team to have.
